Acme Wire Products Company, Incorporated is a top precision wire fabricator located in Mystic Connecticut. We were started in the 1930’s by Rudolph Planeta and his brothers, their first products were wire lampshade frames. The brand continued to grow and in 1970 they began making products for the printer and computer industries. Today, we are run by a team of the Planeta siblings who work towards a goal of providing customers with engineered wire products that suit their specific needs. As a precision fabricator of components, parts, and products, we focus mostly on industrial applications of our products but also produce consumer goods.

Many different industries rely on products from our company including medical, food processing, OEM, safety, HVAC, telcom, and sporting goods. When customers work with our engineers, they receive an Acme design concept, blue print and CAD drawing, tooling, production, and the final parts. Our company works with different materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, Inconnel, and Monel. We have a stocked inventory of standard wire diameters to provide faster manufacturing for our customers. Special materials and wire diameters can be ordered to fit any project application. Acme Wire Products has many of our own specialty machines and production tools to produce top of the line products exactly to customer specification.

Our company has many wire forming capabilities including bending, forming, machining, coining, drilling, hardware insertion, assembly, and much more. With so many capabilities, we are able to produce steel baskets, machine guards, medical carts and frames, sporting goods components, fiber optic trays, cable rings, and custom sink accessories. Customers can rest assured that our company will work hard to provide them with exactly what they need with first class service.
